How information you share through this website is collected, used, and protected. This policy is provided as a placeholder structure aligned with PIPEDA and will be reviewed before launch.
What I collect
When you use the contact form on this site, I collect the name, email address, phone number (if you choose to provide it), and message you submit. When you book through Jane App, that information is handled by Jane App under their own privacy policy.
Why I collect it
Only to respond to your inquiry, schedule a consultation, and communicate with you about therapy services. Your information is never sold, rented, or shared for marketing.
How it's stored
Inquiry messages are stored in my secure email and removed within a reasonable period after our communication ends. Clinical records for ongoing clients are kept separately, in line with BCACC record-keeping requirements.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA, you have the right to access the personal information I hold about you, request corrections, and withdraw consent for its use. Email me at caleb@chuicounselling.ca to make a request.
Analytics
This site uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-respecting service that does not use cookies or collect personal information. No individual users are tracked.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes meaningfully, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
